Credit System
Understanding how credits work helps you maximize your influence on the roadmap.
Your Credit Pool
Each user receives a pool of voting credits. These credits represent your voting power across all features.
Credit Allocation
When you vote on a feature, credits are deducted from your pool:
| Action | Credit Impact |
|---|---|
| Vote 10 credits on Feature A | -10 from pool |
| Vote 25 credits on Feature B | -25 from pool |
| Remove vote from Feature A | +10 back to pool |
Credit Recovery
Credits return to your pool when:
- You remove a vote - Immediate return
- You reduce a vote - Difference returns immediately
- A feature ships - Credits allocated to shipped features return
Maximizing Impact
Strategy 1: Concentrate Credits
Put most of your credits on 1-2 features you truly need. This gives those features a strong signal.
Strategy 2: Spread Credits
Distribute credits across many features. This ensures some of your priorities get attention even if your top pick isn't selected.
Strategy 3: Monitor and Adjust
As features move through the pipeline, reallocate credits:
- Move credits away from features gaining momentum
- Add credits to features that need a boost
Credit Limits
- Minimum per vote: 1 credit
- Maximum per vote: 100 credits
- Pool refresh: Credits from shipped features return automatically
